Intergovernmental Services

The Office of Intergovernmental Services (IGS) is responsible for the administration of various federal and state programs including the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), STOP Violence Against Women (STOP), Family Violence Prevention  Services Act (FVPSA), the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) programs, and Pregnancy Help Organizations Grant.

IGS also administers the State Clearinghouse which serves as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the State of Arkansas to the state agencies, regional planning councils, water management districts, and local governments that participate in the intergovernmental review process.

Additionally, IGS oversees the State Records Retention Schedule, performs cost analysis of state agencies’ information technology (IT) budgets and expenditures, and prepares the annual statewide indirect cost allocation report.
