Program Description
The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) awards funding to the State of Arkansas to increase public awareness about, and primarily and secondary prevention of, family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence: and to assist in efforts to provide immediate shelter and supportive services for victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence, and their dependents.
Statutory Authority
U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families Eligible Entities
Local public agencies and nonprofit private organizations (including religious and charitable
organizations and voluntary associations). Examples of eligible participants include, but are not limited to, domestic violence shelters and community-based outreach programs that provide victim advocacy and intervention, employment training, prevention services (including school-based prevention projects),
parenting skills development and other educational services.

Agreed Upon Procedures Rate of Pay
As of 7/1/2013 rate is $75.00 per hour and all work and findings must be completed within a maximum of forty (40) billable hours.
